I suggest calling them Choice Airways… where’s the colour scheme I designed that Matthew Murray put in the flesh for us.
lol…
Seen this many times before, very funny! 😀
Thanks for the information. Very exciting, a nice long A330-300! More passengers for you SOFTLAD, proably just what you wanted. :p
Ah well. I guess we are each entitled to our opinions. I recently signed up for Thai’s Royal Orchid Plus air mile scheme. By March, I’ll be a silver member and entitled to 50% more baggage allowance.. yeay!
I wouldn’t consider British Airways as an option in future. My only two trips with the airline have not been through choice.
Much like when we went to New York last year. We didn’t fly British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. For 7-8 hours flying time, we don’t want anything spectacular. We settled for the cheapest option, which was United Airlines. Absolutely brilliant. If possible, my next flights to the USA will be with them.
Great reports LBARULES,
I noticed G-OBYI, I’m so excited because I and as far as I can remember, Pembo330, have been on it.
Great report, Andrew. Good to hear you had a good time. Norwich sounded good with a nice selection of aircraft on show.
Good old Sky-Bus and the infamous 767-500!!
We’ve discussed this many times now and have decided that it’s just a big joke.
London Luton to destinations in the United States. Sounded good, but not likely to happen.
I’m baffled as to how you cannot compare Thai to British Airways and Lufthansa. Over-rated? How are they over-rated?
In all fairness, when you fly Thai, your flights are short haul ones. When you fly British Airways, it is long haul, perhaps 3 or 4 times longer than your experience on Thai.
With me, it’s the other way around. British Airways I fly on short haul and Thai on long haul. On shorter flights, you only experience so much, but when you are flying for 12 hours non-stop, the service has to be a tad better in my opinion.
Thai aren’t fantastic, but they are certainly good. I too, like British Airways, but I’m not so keen on their prices. Why on earth pay more than you have to?
Great stuff. Low light can produce some great results.
The DHC-6 is brilliant, such a great looking little beast.
Sounds quite an ordeal, but all the waiting certainly paid off.
All are very good photographs.
Funny stuff. Airtoons.com is a good site for these sorts of things. I noticed you used it, Ren.
😀
What coincidence!
More great photographs there, wannabe.
lol 😀
Shed is one used regularly on the forums as an alternative for the Shorts 360.
Welcome to the forums CompassCall
Both very nice. The sky is beautiful in the first shot.

So is it like Thai gives more importance and quality to its more important sectors and ignores other sectors?
I don’t think so. I guess it’s just the luck of the draw. SOFTLAD had a bad experience on an 11 hour flight, whereas I thoroughly enjoyed my 11 hour flights with them. You just have to hope you get a decent bunch of crew who can actually be bothered to do anything for you.
