I like to do that. On a clear day in my back garden, you can very easily make out the aircraft types and airlines flying overhead.
I trotted home from the train station tonight and as the sun set, a wonderful British Airways 767-300 flew over. Against the orange sky, it looked lovely.
Very nice!
And what an aircraft to model it on! :p I like it.
Keep up the good work, dartie!
We spoke about this colour scheme a few days ago, very similar to the original one in my opinion and could be better.
Looks very exciting. What is the purpose to it though? £10k on a simulator is a lot of money.
I found that with Florida, I needed another holiday to get over it. 2 weeks of theme parks just didn’t appeal to me, I like to relax.
Great photos.
I was going to ask why the aircraft didn’t just fly the 50km, but then I noticed that they had no wings!
No need for a link. Below is a drop down menu which is titled “Forum Jump”. Simply select Modern Military Aviation and you will be taken to the military discussion board.
😀 Good site, too. Military isn’t my area, but it looks good. Shame I can’t understand it!!

An impressive collection of photos, martin_EGTK. Really like the Lufthansa A319/A320/A321  Can’t tell which it is from that angle.. lol
Happy Birthday! 😀
A nice way to finish off my second suscription to the magazine.
Anyone know if the binders are still given away free with the subscriptions? I think £7.45 is a bit hefty, they’re not nothing special.
Thailand is extremely cheap to get to. We’re supposed to be booking our 28-night trip with Kuoni in March in the coming days. A 3-4* hotel for all 28 nights on room only basis plus flights with what is likely to be Thai again, sets you back about £900. What a bargain. Considering you would pay £1200 or more for 14 nights in the Caribbean, it’s a bargain.
Food is extremely cheap and great tasting, too. Thai curry dishes start at about 30p (from street vendors) and a real, top notch meal in a fancy restaurant would cost you about £2.50 per person. We even fed our family in pizza hut for just £7 including drinks.
Just up the road from where we stayed in Pattaya was a nice, family-run hotel which charged 400B a night for a room. This is a mere £6 and thats also for 2 people!! The hotel had a pool, a cheap restaurant and only a 3 minute walk from the beach. What more could you ask for?
A big step for Newcastle, shame about the colour scheme. An insult to the 767 I’d say!
There is nothing wrong with the Dominican Republic. It is just getting slightly crowded as more and more people want to holiday there.
For roughly the same price, try hotels in Cuba and not the Caribbean, but Mexico.
I’m currently using Babarosa GIF Animator 3.5 which is actually shareware. However, my version was downloaded from http://www.download.com
The image you create will say “trial” all over it, but if you just copy and paste a white patch over the entire image, you’ll cover it up and nobody will ever know the difference.
The only problem is that Download.com has only got version 3.6, not sure what the difference is or if you can use this little trick to get around the “trial” problem.
