The mistake was replying to you in the first place, and you can wait till hell freezes over for an apology!
Very unkind
You’re assuming they’re bigoted because of their vote.
Seems a bit bigoted of you to assume something bad about 17 million people you don’t know simply because of the way they voted one time.
I’ll guess that many voted to exit simply because they’re a bit nationalist.
Whether you chose to admit it or not, there is plenty of nationalism on this forum by people who voted both ways.
Stick around and you’ll find plenty of nationalism….sooner or later someone will say “All (fill in the name of any country here) aeroplanes/food/film/autos are crap.” See, you might be a closet nationalist too!
No no no.
John green said 17 million people understood him as if they were all in tune. My point was rhetorical to ask if they all then shared his bigoted views. The point I was making was quite the opposite. That’s the problem with forum speak.
And I very much doubt I’m a nationalist.
Wings43 βNever apologize, mister, it’s a sign of weakness.β
Quite the opposite. It’s a sign of strength to learn from mistakes.
So you won’t apologise for the rascist language or the bus comment? You think that rascist language is acceptable on a public forum?
We do quite often but I think you’re lost in your own closed off circle of rhetoric.
Well I’m glad that at last something makes sense to you. I’d begun to despair.
i don’t think you were despairing John. I think you’re bored π
Perhaps you’re more responsible than you think. Your attitude can be very inflammatory.
Paul is responsible for his own use of rascist words and his comments asking me to jump under a bus. I’ve yet to and never will use sexist and rascist language on this forum but will call you and others like you out on it.
I think being called ‘inflammatory’ by you is somewhat ironic. But you know that and it’s all part of your game.
What’s wrong with that ? I was paid to do the same.
From what you post on here it makes sense that this was your profession.
17 million Brexiteers do !
so the 17 million hold bigoted views like yours. A bit unfair.
What drivel!!!
You can’t seriously believe it!
Women don’t make the same heights as men on mass because we live in a male dominated society where sexism hinders opportunity.
And your wife’s inability to clean a drain does not represent women as a whole.
Hilarious and you know it.
Paul, I think I’ll join you. Nothing wrong with being a “bit backward and unable to alter to the modern world”.
If the ‘modern world’ is exemplified by Wings, then I’m even in more of a hurry !
That’s ok John. Each to their own but unfortunately there was no need for racist language and telling someone to jump under the wheels of a bus. Thankfully the mods or webmaster deleted this. No apology however from the author of this post.
What is the actual problem?? At that age a boy’s shirt will fit perfectly well on a girl, so if the girl wants a friggin dinosaur or Einstein shirt, just buy the damn thing and don’t make a drama out of your life people.
I’m not sure why some people in society seem to want to have everyone de-sexed these days. Vive la difference.
You are missing the point. It’s not about desexing people. It is about not presuming one sex should prefer particular role models/hobbies/colours and encouraging free choice across the board. And it’s about a hit seeing the in store adverts and making the connection that this is what girls have and this what boys have. I don’t think that’s hard to follow.
So far we’ve had someone divert this to being about desexing and someone about safety. Why is such a muddle. Read the articles through first I would suggest.
If they have knowledge of the unlawful act before it is committed and say or do nothing to stop said act, then they are complicit.
Couldn’t agree more but what has that got to do with the majority of Muslim citizens in this country who are law abiding and have nothing to do with terrorism.
Thankyou for your pictures which I enjoyed very much. A bright spot in a forum full of darkness and dissent(in places)
When I first left home I lived in a grotty bedsit in Chiswick and on a Sunday to lighten my depression I would go there and realise
the world was not all a bad place.
Another reason why these places are so important like public parks. A place for a bit of respite. The images make me want to visit.
Read it again,I am a family member. Now P11S off and stop trying to wind me up. Anyway I thought you had left this forum in high dudgeon?
In all sincerity I wasn’t trying to annoy you. I genuinely don’t see the connection between your family story and this thread as there is a difference between family members who know and a blanket community consisting of Muslims whose only commonality is a shared faith.
It’s got no relevance. It’s all about family members.
