I think I may be wrong, it is too small to be what I first stated, it is possibly a ‘Standard Steel’ USAAF A3.

It looks very much like an ex RAF 450 gallon ‘Zwicky’ bowser for Oil or water

Very sorry to hear the news of his passing, I’m glad I got to shake his hand during a chance meeting a few years ago.

    Paul,
just find and remove the update KB3035583 from your machine and restart. This will end the automatic download and reminder.

Personally I would not help erna anymore until he becomes a bit more helpful in answering that question!

With Germany probably having its fair share of ‘site robbers’ I can see the logic of him not answering that question this early on.

Slightly confused, Last Dambuster….Les Munro is still with us isn’t he? I know Les and his crew turned back after Damage over Holland, but he was still ‘on’ the raid.

Good to see them returned, maybe resin copies could be made and mounted, while the originals could be hung somewhere more secure?

For me it has to be in the first few minutes of ’12’o’clock high’, when Dean Jaggers character walks out onto that old airfield with the haunting music and the clank of the radial starting..
