There are certain elements on the MOBO which need fixing with a certain paste. It’s heat-proof stuff.
I will get more info on Thursday (Not in workplace on Wednesday) and post it here.
Thermal paste between the CPU and the MB. a thin layer no thicker than a sheet of good A4 paper!
Burning out the motherboard I doubt is the lack of thermal paste IMHO, Case heat being the most likely culprit. I have no fewer than four fans supplying cool air from outside while another four exhaust hot air from the case.
It is all about airflow over components. Badly run cables will cause heat to linger if they are blocking airflow. The same as dust build up in an older machine.
Just seen a bill for a local roundabout that was resurfaced, hot rolled asphalt granted but £90,000! Gawd knows how much for a thousand yards of Runway, peritrack and parking:eek:.
Denis, my mate used to live opposite the Quendon Arms about 18 years ago and you could usually see him pottering around in the wood by the side of the road going into the village. He was certainly part of the local scenery.
Didn’t he used to push a dog around in a pram?
That was him Robbo, I often stopped and passed the time of day with him. He was well versed on current affairs, having a little radio he listened to.
Many thanks for the info you have provided.I did hear at one time that the Army unit at nearby Carver Barracks used to keep an eye on him and provide things for him but maybe that ceased.
It only took me twenty years to learn his name! I did see an Army Land rover parked there several times in the past, but not for the last three to four years I must admit.

‘Lest we forget’
Peugeots are clutch and fly-wheel eaters. and they aint cheap to replace.
Depends how they are driven surely, My 306 Diesel is fourteen years old with the original clutch still in use. come to think of it, it still has the original rear brakes and drums..in fact at 110,000 miles apart from front discs and pads the whole thing is original. Passed its MOT last week too with nothing to spend on it again. Lovely old bus!
Pity my Land Rover Discovery wasnt as easy to maintain.

Most antispyware progs are useless at removing this type of trojan.
Only two to recommend, Combofix and Malwarebytes actually do the trick.
Oh, and stop surfing dodgy sites:p

That struck me at first, So, are we looking at a Scandinavian aircraft like a SAAB. Or an A/C that has been aquired for use by a Scandinavian operator? But either way a strange find in anEnglish skip none the less:)
Specifically, there were two 20mm cannon from a Mosquito in the collection. We have the other two (you see where I am going with this).
I would like to find a contact so I can make some enquiries.Bruce
Was this the pair recovered from the sea wall at Bradwell Essex?. I wasnt on that dig, but I seem to remember being told that they hung out from the side of the seawall like a pair of rusty water pipes!
I was a member of the EAG from 1978 to 1982 Andy.
I wonder therefore, how much of the former EAG exhibits ended up forming the basis of the Rebel Air Museum?
I know David was always quite bitter about their eviction from Duxford for many years. I think that’s why suggestions for the museum’s Marauder tail section to go to Duxford were quickly quoshed!
I thought the Rebel air museum was finished before the EAG left Duxford.
Ahhhh:)
Just thinking about my annual dose of Merlin noise for this year. Must sort a couple of dates out!
Just thought I would add the following from our local rag….
Firefighters and paramedics were scrambled to North Weald yesterday after a WW2 fighter plane crash landed. The Hawker Hurricane appeared to stall on touchdown sending the planes nose crashing into the ground and flipping its tail section into the air. The pilot emerged from the wreckage unscathed.
Gordonbennet! talk about beefing the story up.
Great jounalism ‘Harlow Star’
And there is me trying to lay my hands on a copy! Apparently a brilliant book.
