This is where the P51s and P40s were originally built.

Think the pics here are ‘on set’

Didn’t realise they were rebuilt again for the film:

In fact my bet is they were made by the Barrandov Studios set and props crew. Ah, here we go, the full story here:

    Haven’t ‘slated’ anyone.

I stand corrected with it being a model

I knew of the P40s and P51s, saw them being built, it was quite difficult to tell them apart from the real thing.

However, this Stuka has a one piece fin/rudder and a one piece tailplane/elevator with a painted joint line, something that can be noticable in some cgi scenes in films but not usual on a reasonable replica. It is also ‘missing’
aerials, panels, weathering, any cockpit furniture, etc. I guess in a fast paced film its good enough but, when scrutinised on a forum such as this, with people who are passionate about aviation, it don’t look right.

I didn’t consider my post as being ‘arrogant’, however, I was not expecting
the thought police lurking on the forum to be more so:rolleyes:

    Get a life.

    Matty, very interesting, thankyou.

Looks like CGI to me. Thought the only replicas made for this film were P40s and P51s

    Skyfall

    Agree.

Very gritty, more (cough) realistic, enjoyed, best Bond yet.

Denationalising the road network would involve phasing out taxes applied specifically to the road sector, such as fuel duty and Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax).

    Never happen.
