I take it that was Hunterfest Martin.
Alright you’re really teasing me now! Guess they’ll be no work getting done today. Great shots! 😀 😎
Great photos Al – good to see G-VETA up and about. Now if only she’d popped over to Duxford to join in the F86 party! 😀
This is all getting to much, pictures of G-VETA and G-HVIP both flying being posted on the same morning – I’m gunna need to lay down somewere! 😀
Great Photo’s Swiss Mustangs. Does anyone know if there’s going to be a Hunterfest again this year?
These things happen its the one bad design of the 17 cockpit was where the gear levers and flap levers are placed. That is why most 17 operators have moved the Gear switchs to the top panels.
Same on the DH Vampire and Venom as even some of the most experianced pilots have found to there cost!
Hunter??? Where do i sign!! 😀

You’ll need a couple of thousand pounds in your back pocket though! 😮
Errrm yes,i did have a large white lens LOL,[thats all the wife would say] 😮 .I had a camera bag with me and was wearing a black fleece.
I was wearing all denim with a blue rucksack, shades and a red sunburnt face! 😀
We really should get some Key Forum T-Shirts made up! You must have been standing right next to me Trumper and I didn’t even know. I was aware of someone walking around me with a big lense ( ooh er! ) but I was intent on watching the Sabre going on’s. 😀
Yep, it’s been great at Duxford today!! 😀
1 practice display from Cliff Spink and 2 from Mark Linney – what can I say pure pleasure. 🙂
One thing I was surprised to find out today was that the ejection seats for the F86A were made by Mitsubishi, so soon after they had been fighting each other!
If your looking at Spitfire money how about a flight in a Hunter?
I tend to find that weekdays are more active than the weekends especially as the maintenance organisations work Monday to Friday. The week before an airshow is normally more busy and press days are normally Thursdays. The weekdays before Legends are normally very busy. Hope this helps but at the end of the day it’s very pot luck.
where was the museum with the Blue Streak in it? didnt look familiar..
Neil
Museum of Flight, East Fortune.
Great Programme. 😎
