The Heron G-AORG is on a major check at the moment with Atlantique Engineering could be spares needed there?
I do know when the group in Jersey bought the aircraft many years ago they had a good supply of spares but as we know sometimes the one you need as a one off will not be there>

    Tomsonflys Wingleted 737-300

Thomsonfly Boeing 737-300 G-THOO is one of the first to appear on British registered 737.
The winglets were done before the aircraft was delivered to Tomsonfly and adds two and a half metres to the wing span.
At some airports this aircraft might not fit onto a stand for a normal 737.
Unless one knows from an airports point of view by the hanling agent tell you this it could catch some airports out.

    Jersey Air Display

With the project having some connections to Jersey in the Channel Islands with the financing of some of the project and the aircraft is down hopefully to come to Jersey there air display might be one of a few that she will be taking part in.
We are all looking forward to see her back in the air but there are some displays she will not make so the ones later in the year might have a better chance.
Good luck to all on the project.

I would agree with Chrism21 the Flybe Dash 300s would be the first choice as they are operational and will be ready by the end of the year and i would expect some of the ex BA connect crews to join Eastern.
Good to see Eastern is plodding on and getting bigger capicty a step by step from The small Jetstreams to the 41s then the Dash it might end up the J41s will be replaced by a fleet of Dash 8 300s?

    Based

Which base has the short straw or will the keep it in the hangar and bring it out to board and on return after unloading put it back in the hangar.?
With one comment saying Pilots will only fly it with a paper bag over there head.
With the aircraft being green it should be based in a county airfield, but which one?
When the aircraft starts operating to European destination we hope there will be some feed back to hear if it is like in Europe,

    Nice pictures inside the hangar.
Good to see the Six is progressing well, great to have her back in the air where she belongs any news on the projected date for her to fly once more?.
Interesting one on the red and white kerosene burner to come out of the hangar shortly, is there any other ones behind the classic flight doors that we are not awhere of yet?
It looks like an interesting year comming up for the flight and hope they have a good one.

    Could this join the Rapides?

With the De Havilland DH14 Heron G-AORG the only Herons flying in the Europe being at Coventry on a major check with engineering, could this be heading towards the Classic Flight?

    Journalists

When will these presenters get there fact correct?

With the amount of information available these days on the internet you can get a lot of information about the project and doing some research.

The BBMF can be contacted as well they are only human and they would not bite, to get all the information to produce a good programme with the correct information.
