Yes you missed it that came on after, thats when i turned it off.!
Those pictures were on here some time back i seem to remember did sally B get any parts?
It could be a good flight sim………
Yes i never thought of that it could be, don’t think this is b o b though?
Personally i wouldn’t part with anything from a late relative so price would not be an issue.
Try a auction house get some history on the man and he might do ok.
Why on earth would he want to sell them?
Or do you just want to know what there worth yourself………..
In todays times who builds the spitfire the best?
The mustang the best?
Not which was the best in the war……….
It would have been nice to hear the roar of those engines on the run rather than the music but still nice video thanks.
It’s ready to be melted and used to build merlin parts now.
That music on the first vid how depressing.!
I was liucky enough to pick up this Acc trolley recently

It does look kind of nice in those markings though as a brit the RAF roundels are my thing.
The video shows the propeller still spinning on landing so the engine was running when it came to a abrupt halt won’t this have damaged the engine or the reduction gear? or was the engine stopped before the last few seconds would the props still spin?
These young men jumping into there training aircraft how would they know there poorly maintained are they mechanics no they see a old aircraft with some battle scars & were expecting a nice new spitfire or lanc not this old wreck they have to put up with.
No different today when you put a young lad in a old car to learn to drive.
If the engines ran the wheels and brakes worked instruments work crack on with it!
During the war when they crashed im sure they didn’t have the time and patience to investigate each crash thoroughly like they would today a shame but it was a war.
