Anyone know what’s with the wing from Miss Demeanour? I thought that one was still flying?

Taken from your link…………..Please note she has a wing from another hunter which has been sprayed in the cls like G-PSST

Air filters for modern cars the change interval is 40k or 4 years.!!

At 40k the thing is black and well clogged with dandelion fluff and road dirt no wonder many a diesel over fuel.

Same goes for the fuel filter.

As this one of mine has just reached 3yrs old it was serviced by the dealers for warranty and MOT at the same time next year im doing it & it will get Millers oils which i swear by not the dealers stuff which is cheaper & it will be getting the full service inc the filters, current mileage 18k.

The pollen filter is the one your charged for and it often is missed which is disgusting really.

The so called tightening of tolerances was nothing more than a process to allow an unskilled/semiskilled workforce to assemble engines, without snagging.[/QUOTE]

Do you know that for sure as it does seem plausable?, they were not all time served engine builders at the start of the war, but they sure were by the end of it.

Certainly, it is the job of Moderators to moderate and in this respect they do an exceptionally good and thankless task.

Yes on the whole they do however Moggy has slapped my hand with his cane for going off topic!

These threads seem to go “off topic” every day it just seems i hit a raw nerve with this one, fair enough.

The first post clip shows the p-51 come down and explode on impact, but thats all it shows & im thinking there has been some photo’s showing more but have been deleated but they always show up on the net for us all to see at some stage.

What i can’t fatham out is why on here it’s the “ball over the wall” when one does not like the opinion of another, yes by all means comment thats what the forum is about and share information.

    Off topic.

If you want to discuss why people watch videos ‘Historic’ is not the place.
