For me it has to be G-Hurr in it’s all black night fighter scheme when it was at breighton some 30 miles from here was a pleasure to drive over and see got many photo’s inc with the panels off and the inside,but it would not be the same without it’s pilot Mr Brian Brown a true gent.

IIRC there is a course sponsored by BAPC which is held at Duxford(?) specifically geared towards conservation and restoration.

Nice one john but what about the other museums undertaking classes?
Maybe on a smaller scale duxford for some is just a little too far to travel for a class in restoration.

Yes good point about the age of staff i bet there 45 plus i maybe wrong but we do need to teach staff why not hold a course on doing it & get younger staff interested?

If the drop tanks are full can the fuel be sucked out and fill the other tanks before dropping or do you just have to use it first then drop?
Can’t have been much fun in a city if you dropped the tanks from 12 thousand feet but then again neither would a bomb!
