Hi ,I am pretty sure the engine used in Don Cashmore`s Hawker Cygnet is a Mosler not a half V.W engine.
With all the different subcontractors building Spitfire/Seafire parts and their different codes for these parts and sub-assemblies.Also the various places Spitfires were assembled would make a fascinating book.
Have you ever considered writing one Mark 12? I for one would be interested and I daresay many others would be too.Heres hoping.
Thanks everybody for the gen,and in reply to Cees,it did have wings when I last saw it.
Lovely looking aircraft,I must admit that I was very excited that the Caudron had been recreated when I first read about it.Here`s hoping it comes and does a few appearances this side of the channel.
I heard it was at Kemble.Don`t know how true this is though.
A bit niave I suppose, but does that fin and rudder still exist Mark 12?.Great if it does,a future rebuild maybe?
Very interesting article Peter.Quite biased the way its written, but I can appreciate it from both angles. The main thing that I found interesting was the qauntity planes that they alleged were still out there undiscovered, wonder how accurate that is or is it just journalistic licence.
Fantastic looking car.Great to see aeroengined ones. You must have a good phone the pictures are much better than I would have expected. Thanks for showing them.
Yes I look forward to the list as well.Should be interesting reading, thanks Mark 12 over to you.
Didn`t think I was going to get any gen on this one.Appreciate the info, thanks chaps.
Thanks for the info BSG-75 and Edgar. There doesn`t seem to be much real in depth stuff easily available other than the odd magazine article though, but thanks once again, much appreciated.Cheers.
Thanks Mark 12
Wonderful pictures Zac.Thanks for that and the report of how it performed over the weekend. It sounds like they have got it well sorted ,as there always seems to be lots of teething troubles with all rebuilds until things setttle down.Congrats to all cocerned
Nice pictures pouakai.Glad to see it made the Easter airshow, how did it perform over the weekend, were there any teething problems with it?
Hi Tom, never saw the original site but what you`ve got now looks pretty good.I`m no computer expert but I think it`s ok.
