Well the liver and bacon casserole is in the old cast iron caserole dish marinating.
We have to eat early tonight because we’re going to a quiz night.

I find cooking a really good diversion from the rest of my life.
I can easily eat, sleep and drink motors and engines if you know what I mean. I think I’m obsessive to be honest.
Cooking is good for the soul and clears my head.

I have a large lump of venison in the freezer and did consider that for tonight, but I think that deserves more attention.

Any other blokes here enjoy cooking??

    John.
I doubt this will ever happen in an English classroom again–or anywhere for that matter.

My old English teacher Mr Brian Hulme was reading from Shakespeare one day to a class of Norfolk teenagers–itself, I imagine a somewhat depressing task, when the BBMF Lancaster roared overhead quite low–they were based at Coltishall in those days.
Brian stopped mid-sentence, and watched the Lanc in silence as it flew into the distance and disappeared. He then then turned to a class of upturned faces and said: ‘My brother used to fly those you know’.

Almost twenty years later I met him and almost my first question was, ‘I know your brother flew with Bomber Command, did he get through alright?’ Happily he did, and Brian said how did I know, and I repeated the story. ‘My goodness Jones, you have a good memory, my memory of you is of a pupil who I gave rare A’s to but you never cared enough about your studies’, was his response.
    We still exchange Christnas cards.

They already do that at a certain little airfield in Bedfordshire–up to 16 years free with an adult.

    Mogs.
Yes I am intentionally wandering off topic.
Like me, I know you have an interesting life and have better things to do.
I post about Liver and bacon caserole with good reasons.
    a) It’s a May Saturday and the subject of catering is more relevant, fun and probably in my opinion at least, more interesting thn moronic postings, angling at getting the argument across that poor Uncle Adolf and his friends were misunderstood and they were just on a jolly global trading mission, thirty years in advance of the EU.
    b) I’ve had enough of ‘nobber’ spreading his poison in a none debate.

Sorry if it’s causing you moderating work.
I’ll happily start up a home catering thread if you think that’s better.
I bet it gets more attention than this nonsense anyway.
Now go out and fly your aeroplane like a good boy..!:eagerness:

    Love you.

Andy, I find the meal your having tonight far more interesting, than this Post, as Liver and Bacon, the way your doing it, is one of my favourite meals, Got a spare place?.:very_drunk:
B.T.W. The terminology you used re, “Fitting up”, is actually “Stitching them up”, well, that’s what we used to do, (But don’t tell anyone.:).)

    Jim.
    Lincoln .7

    Jim.

There is no discussion–haven’t you noticed..??

You post obviously inflamatory material and then won’t discuss it.
I suggest you have an agenda–prove me wrong.
As far as this thread goes, I’m gone.
I can’t waste anymore time countering your moronic postings. I’m off to the real World where I need to go and give my local butcher some of my hard earned. Liver and Bacon caserole this evening in a red wine sauce.
Made by me to welcome back my own little member of’The Filf’ after a hard week of fitting up the innocent or whatever modern Policing consists of.

    Goodbye.

Ok, “thick, malignant, *rse, need help, cr*p, sloppy journalism, extremely unpleasant,”
……but ad hominem’s aside, can we hear your opinion on the Holocaust that took place before and without hitler ?
or is this just another holocaust denial rant with abundance of insults and infact the argument ?

Well, quite frankly, I think the maker of the little film is beneath contempt.
I think it says it all that it’s entitled ‘Six Million–my *rse’, and my original posting here was pitched at a similar level to illustrate my point.

Why don’t you learn to read–and not listen to what the narrator of your little piece says..?
What those articles are saying are that a population of six million Jews were in danger of starvation and opression in the imediate post Great War period.
They do not say that they are being exterminated en masse.
The narrator of that film is however making a parallel, the purpose of which is that a lie has apparently been peddled–presumably to gain sympathy or advantage in some way.

So, please do not try and tell me that a holocaust on the scale of what the Nazis perpertrated was going on 25 years before they started in the hope that we believe that it didn’t really happen.
What your personal motives for posting this cr*p are, I have no clue, but i suspect you have an agenda–othyerwise you wouldn’t have posted it.

So, what are your views on the final solution..??
