Tim
there was an article in Aeroplane Monthly some years ago that may shed some light on this.
If you can bear with me for a few days I’ll try and dig it out for you.
PM me an E-mail address.
Cheers
Andy.
Jetlag is a terrible disease, Mr. Jones. Cat got you up?
Don’t you have to be at Duxford in a few hours?
Yes, to all the above. 🙂 🙂 🙂
All the way to the scene of the crash…
DO I detect a note of sarcasm here, Mr P??
Oh come on, let’s just stone him!!!
Arrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh
I don’t want any stones thrown till I blow this whistle.
Or we could feed him the Salmon mousse.
James
we’ll be sorry to see you go.
I’m still not completely convinced you’re Australian but you seem set on the idea.
So, good luck cobber and throw another prawn on the barby.
Cheers
Andy
PS You still owe me a tenner when you lose ‘The Ashes’.
PPS Hopefully see you Sunday. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Logged In……
Hi
It’s a foolish person indeed that leaves himself logged in when Steve Patterson’s around.
Guess who wrote the above???????
Cheers
Andy
PS T-6 flying is fun though. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Heh…
Nice one James!!! Of course we both know that I’m Hairless Joe, and a very naughty boy. There, now I’ve admitted my sins. May God strike me dead if I ever mention Morris Dancing again.
Steve Patterson is a wonderful bloke, and I’m lucky he let me throw up in his L-39.
Cheers lads, see you at Duxford on Sunday
Andy
Thanks….
Hi
thank you all for your kind words.
Please see other thread for today’s comments.
Really a wonderful day.

Morris Dancing…….
Hi all
Well, it’s been a fantastic birthday.
I knew I was in trouble as the canopy hinged down and the intercom went live and a certain Mr Patterson said
‘What did you say about Morris dancing?’
I now know what 4.5G’s feels like at the bottom of a loop.
Later Vanessa went for a ride in the T-6 and we played at being Monty’s double round the perimeter track in the Ferret armoured car.
Vanessa also flew down from Olathe NAS to Lee’s Summit in the L-39.
I might have a T-6 flight later myself but am resting at present.
Out for dinner next.
Thanks for all the nice comments. The people on this forum really are my friends.
Pictures later
Cheers
Andy 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
More
A few more….
Hawker won his VC on on one.
He shot down two Aviatiks with it. The Lewis gun was at 45 degrees to the line of flight–think about it.
Cheers
Andy.
Baiting…
Hi James
You know me, I might be outnumbered here but I’ll still carry on being British.
Now where was that hanky??
Cheers
Andy
I may not be at home Robert but I can still see you!!! 🙂 🙂 😉 🙂
Thanks for the kind words.
I’ve already been asked if that’s a real British accent this holiday at least once!!
I told him it wasn’t, I only spoke like that to annoy Americans. 😉 😉 🙂 🙂
Cheers
Andy
