I have to object most strongly to this thread. I am not, nor have I ever been, a Morris Dancer.

    Oh Come On Melv,
Don’t be bashful. Let’s face it it’s a step up from cross dressing–you know that thing you used to be into.
You know what they say “Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it”.

I only wish I’d have started this thread!
    All the best mate

    Robbo
are you hinting that PA does Morris dancing too?
I just never realised the World of warbirds was so closely linked with folk dancing.
You certainly learn something everyday on this forum.

Melv, I must say you look like you enjoy your other hobby.
Is it a structured organisation or do you just turn up?
and there I was thinking you were all Freemasons.
    Cheers

    Ex-Lax

A recent one of myself at the museum.

    Geoff
I don’t want to be personal but there’s a good cure for your condition available at Boots.
    It’s Ex-Lax.
    Constipation can be so painful–don’t you think?? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐Ÿ™‚

Not yet, I needed a kip when I got in tonight, and I’m off for another in a minute.

    I wondered where you were.
    I e-mailed you earlier.

    Built that Lancaster yet?
    No, is an insufficient answer!

It’s only blowing a gale out there tonight–you could be out flying it.

Andy, I think I’m changing microdrives in that shot.
If you’d wanted accurate captions, you should’ve rung me and asked at the time.

Yeah I could have, but finding something slightly insulting to say is much more fun. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    Rob
what are you doing exactly in that picture?
Looks like you’re counting money to me.
Trying to work out if you’ve got enough pocket money left to buy that Lancaster kit?? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

    Also
At one stage that NZ/Aussie Icon Mr M Gibson was to make a “Computer enhanced” (Pearl Harbour style aircraft ) version of the Dambusters – anybody know what happened to that?

I really sincerly hope they leave The Dambusters alone.
After the original what more could be done with it?
Also I’m sure Gibson hates the English. Look at Braveheart or that cr*p he made about The War of Independance.
I know how the Yanks on this forum feel when they get a bashing after watching that garbage!

    Dear Mr. Burke,

You are quite correct in your supposition that the information contained on our website has โ€˜been picked from various sourcesโ€™. We have merely re-written news items from newspapers and internet sources. Iโ€™m sure you and I would both agree that this is often an unreliable source but, in this instance, we donโ€™t consider that inaccuracies in detail are of any great relavance within the context of our web site.

So, in what context would you consider accuracy relevant then?

I’ve read your post with interest and I concede that aircraft noise can be repetitive, I also concede that you have a right to free speech as do we all and I suspect it’s probably relevant to mention that was one of the things fought for between 1939 and 1945.
However, I find your glib dismissal of accuracy detracts from your argument as I’m sure you would agree would a court of law (for instance).
So may I suggest that you remove innacuracies from your site. I’m sure that your arguments would gain rather than lose gravity if your arguments were based on fact rather than newspaper sensationalism.
    regards
    Andy Jones

    Southern Cross.

Sorry Ashley, that’s another sensible thread killed stone dead.

Why do I have this feeling that a week with Steve Patterson is going to come with such a high price attached?   ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€
