    Yes, the same.
There were a couple of trip boats that used to pull in there back then.

We used to rent a little flat overlooking that harbour–one week in July.
In those far off days there was a cinema in the street–my dad took me to see ‘A Bridge Too Far’ there.

I also remember the paddle steamer Waverley doing trips from there. To Lundy I think.

    Happy days.

i am offended that you are offended by me being offended by others being offended jon! 😀

Now you’re getting really silly, and you’ll incur the wrath of the corrective humour police.

    Watch out sonny boy….:):eek::)

I can’t see it matters where it goes–you’re dead–so you won’t need it.
I intend to spend anything I have to the point where the state has to pay to dispose of my remnants.

    Al.
    Don’t take it personally.
As far as I’m concerned the roads are big enough to take all types of bikes–and as I said, I’ve owned a couple of Harleys.
And you’re correct the speeds on roads are so low, the HD can get past most things–easily.

I’m not a big fan of the sports bike fraternity either.
Dressed like space-men and pulling wheelies everywhere.

Well I suppose there’s a place for all.

Are you baiting (or trolling as it’s otherwise known) now?
If that’s how you entertain yourself then I don’t think it’s me who needs to get a life. Oh and you must have a pretty poor channel selection if “baiting” is better than the telly. Still, enjoy it while you can.

Talking of baiting, I see Moggy is still wriggling.

Yes, you’ve said that before but as I said also previously.
I love the way you have to keep responding.
And it is better than the telly.
I also bet my life is a lot more fun than yours.

So what? This forum is (apparently) moderated and everyone has to abide by the rules – or at least that was what I thought.
To those that seem to prefer unmoderated forums, why do you come here?

As I said before–baiting the tender is better than the telly.
