I know it’s not true, but two seaters often seem to be an afterthought.
It surprise me that more aren’t designed as side by side, other than actual trainer aircraft.
For a two seat combat aircraft, surely being side by side has many advantages ?
Very interesting reading.
I’ll take a punt for a FF on Tuesday 27th October 2015! 😉
What’s the weather forecast for Tuesday ?
A final formation flight with the Lancaster maybe ?
Obviously the OP was referring to the time Michael Foot was widely criticised for wearing what was called
at the time, a Donkey Jacket. Which on closer examination, was nothing of the sort.
It was a short, blue-green overcoat” bought for Mr Foot by his wife, Jill at considerable expense.
“….During the Remembrance ceremony, the Queen Mother, is said to have complimented Mr Foot on the garment,
telling him that it was “a smart, sensible coat for a day like this”….”
A fact obviously overlooked by the tabloid press.

Pretty much what people who were familiar with this type of aircraft, were saying shortly after the accident.
I have a couple of Blaster’s LP’s, plus a cassette tape (somewhere). Even though you know what’s coming in his
stories, he can still have you in tears of laughter.
Lots of his stuff on Youtube.
Very clever. You don’t get that in Sainsburys 🙂

He was one of a group of folk musicians who found that the jokes became more and more of his act (Billy Connoly, Jasper Carrot etc) and came to dominate it. Later he stepped back into folk music. .
Not forgetting (for the rugby fans) Max Boyce.
Thanks for the details.
They didn’t put the money up for her restoration though.
He who pays the piper, calls the tune.
