Some interesting figures on asylum applications in April this year:

    Germany. 27,750
    Hungary. 6,690
    France. 5,650
    UK. 1,960

Get a map and find Germany, France and Hungary.
Then get a magnifying glass and look for England.
Clue: It’s part of that tiny island off the west coast of mainland Europe.

Got data to back that up?

    No data needed.

How on earth are they being accommodated, medicated and educated ?

As shown frequently on news programmes and documentaries, many are living in squalid, unsanitary conditions.
With more often than not, their landlords being other recent immigrants.

If you are right and you may well be it merely reinforces my contention that the film stands little or no chance of making its money back, unless it is made as a low budget dramadoc type of film.

You are probably right. Although if well made, it could provide an endless source of clips for news items, and
documentaries . In the same way that clips from the BoB film are so often used.

I asked a serious question. Why would you say what you did? It makes no sense.

I really can’t be bothered to enter into a debate on the subject.
Make of that what you probably will.

    To start.

By consolidating what had already been gained in mainland Europe, before moving on.
Not bombing the UK, so avoiding retaliatory attacks.
Not even thinking about invading Russia.

So Alan.. Are you ignorant? Deliberately provocative? Or who knows what else!

Can you name one historical drama where a white man of woman has been changed to a black man or woman. I mean a serious drama, not something which is satire or a joke. Can you? Otherwise what is your comment all about. What’s the underlying bitterness that makes anyone write such nonsense?

Oh pleeeezzz, take a chill pill.

I suppose we should be thankful that when this film does eventually go ahead, that’s it’s not being made in the US.
No doubt Guy Gibson would have to be played by a black man, and there would have to be some love interest.
Two of the officers fighting over the same woman. Resolved when only one of them returns from the raid.

With the crews constantly arguing amongst themselves.

If you are staying in London, you are fortunate as most of the major museums have free entry.
Food and refreshments in the museums, can be pricey. Best to find a pub to eat in.

It is to be assumed that you already have your tickets for Duxford ?
