Spitfire flew over Southend Airport heading South West, at about 4pm this afternoon.

A shame that it couldn’t have gone back to Brunty. Wherever it goes, it must be kept indoors.

Even though we had decimalization thrust upon us many years ago, it’s strange that when asked,
most people will still give their height and weight in Imperial measurements.

The case in Bristol was awful, there’s a lot of charities which have much to answer for.

The only street collectors I “regularly” give to are the Salvation Army.
There are just too many charities trying to tug at the heart strings, mostly with “children” in the title.
Some years ago, there was a chap in our area who was making a very good living out of setting up charities,
    with collectors on commission.

I don’t have the exact figures, but I believe charities can take 75% or more in expenses.

There’s something about housebuilding that the politicians will never address.

When do we say “That’s it, no more building on green sites”. Or do we get to a point
in the distant future, where you can drive from one end of the country to the other, and
not see a blade of grass ?

Why can’t Sat Navs have a feature where they will re trace your route for the return journey ?

The number of times my Garmin goes miles out of the way, when I want to go home. Grrrrrrrrrrr…

Equally, if Chilcot had been published before the election, the Tories would have had a landslide.
    .

    Possibly true.

Both parties have a lot riding on the outcome of enquiries. If they get to be made public in our lifetime 🙁

Telfon Tone will no doubt get off with a slapped wrist, I don’t know how the Tories will handle their skeleton
    in the cupboard though.

    Sorry, alleged skeleton.
