The plan to keep the Vulcan at Finningley has an obvious fatal flaw. It would seem to be based largely around being funded by attracting visits by groups from education establishments,.

Which after the end of this year, will no doubt see a fall off in interest.

Get a grip and stop bleating hyperbole from the daily fail.

Look at a map of Europe.

Use your magnifying glass to find the UK.

Then you will see why uncontrolled immigration is a problem here.

Mmmm – not sure that owls deter owls do they? Or maybe Eagle Owls deter Little Owls….

I was told at a falconry event, that dummy owls will attract other birds out of curiosity.

The constant whine of “uncontrolled immigration” is rather boring and tedious.

Where are the numbers that support this dubious claim?

When he took power in 2010 Mr Cameron pledged to bring the figure below 100,000. A total of 624,000 people migrated
to Britain in the 12 months up to last September while 327,000 left. The inflow is up 94,000 on the year before.

190,000 of them travelled from outside the EU

We are looking at making our first tip of the year to Duxford, later this week.
Friday is the preferred day, although (at the moment) Thursday is looking marginally better weather wise.

Also, can’t decide on the annual pass or FOD membership.

If you buy floorboard you buy it in xxx cm length.

    Not in the UK.

Do we actually use Centimetres in industry ?
I was at college when were in the process of changing over from Imperial to Metric measurements.
We only referred to Metres and Millimetres.

…………. although the example at Southend seems to be doing alright!

    Rob

It looks alright, and I know those involved do a fantastic job keeping it in reasonable condition.
I am told though, that standing outside in all weathers, hasn’t been kind to it.
