Studio Ghibli, who were responsible for The Wind Rises, also did Porco Rosso, which I’ve heard is also very good.

They have shown a number of their films on Film4. Up until now, I haven’t watched any.

Must look out for this. Luckily Film4 tend to repeat their films during the week.

    A clip: http://www.radiotimes.com/film/crbwgr/the-wind-rises

” Horikoshi becomes an innovative designer of aircraft in the 1920s, living through some of the most turbulent times in the country’s history. To his horror, his creations are put to destructive use in the Second World War”

Edit: Just checked. It’s repeated on Friday 13th 6:25pm Film 4

I think that sometimes actors are contractually obliged to do follow ups to films ?
Unless they just need the money 🙂

Nice to see the museum featured on the tribute to Cyril Barton VC, shown on Forces TV.

    When was that filmed ?

    Taken 3

Not bad, but I think this has to be the last of the series. He’s just getting too old for this part now.

I do not approve of mob/crowd rule.

    Moggy

I wonder who organised the mob ?

I have to say I’m inclined to agree with him.

Too true, do they expect the police to hold their hands ?

Still from the Battle of Britain film B25 camera ship showing the Isle of Dogs towards the city of London

I still have vivid memories of working close to Southend Airport when the B-25 Camera ship, Spitfire and CASA 2 111 landed,
    presumably to refuel ?

You have to wonder where they are going to house some of the larger exhibits, the B-52 for instance, when they empty the
    American hangar.

Thanks for that. Interestingly enough the picture of the glider mentions my ATC squadron, 1476 Rayleigh.
We also went gliding at North Weald, and I can’t remember if that was before or after Debden.

Fascinating, especially what he had to say about the F-35

I’d love to know if a picture exists of the BoB aircraft lined up at Debden ? I was there for a wing parade when I was an
    ATC cadet.
Nobody thought there would have been a need to take a camera 🙁
