If we had taken the F-111, then definitely no Tornado.
    .

What would have been procured for air defence ?

They will probably kill two birds with one stone, and coat the roof at the same time ? (to stop the dust)

    He must be mad 🙂

I don’t see how they can call it a push bike though ?

Along with quite a few other people I imagine ?
I had a nice email from the CWHM, thanking me for my engine repair donation.

I think it would have more meaning to hold remembrance day on the 11th November every year.
Rather than the most convenient Sunday.

It was a little “boggy” underfoot on Sunday, and very crowded. We left fairly early as the car park was getting cut up,
and I didn’t want to get stuck.

Today, BBC’s “Look East” is from Stow Maries. Not sure if it’s the mid-day or evening edition, or both ?

But in the same way that there used to be women who were unknowingly married to closeted gay men, known as ‘beards’, might not some adults come in with their own children to camouflage their intentions?

Ok, how about not admitting children ?

TD314 went down and back to Headcorn.

Yes, that would probably be the one. I was in my garage when it flew over, I thought it was about to come in the garage 🙂

……..Likewise, you are ignoring a lot of history if you think that women are incapable of cruelty towards children, extending as far as paedophile acts.

Yes I think the figure is roughly 50/50 men/women. Maybe why they are not allowing single women either.

You would have thought though, that all children would be supervised. Either by parents or school teachers ?
Perhaps they should have said that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There couldn’t
have been any argument with that. Except from those maybe, that allow their little darlings to run riot and
annoy everyone else apart from them.

Nice pictures. Had one of Duxford’s Spitfires been down South for the morning ?, as I saw what I thought was
one flying back just before mid-day.

…it does – as already mentioned – which was why I didn’t put ‘single man’ in the title.

So, does anyone know of other sites that apply such rules?

Yes I saw that, once I read the article, rather than the original quote 🙂

“….He was told he couldn’t be admitted as a single man….”

I would have though that in itself was illegal ?, as it would need to apply to women as well.

    How utterly stupid.

What sounded like a Spitfire (and looked like from a distance) flew over Rayleigh Weir at 11:40am
Flying Northbound. Possibly called up as “GJ”. Flying very low beneath low cloudbase.

If you look at any of the “suspended” aircraft, they’re always covered in a layer of dust! Just my thoughts 😉

Apparently that problem is due to be addressed.
