Yes me too. For once I didn’t take too much notice of the cost of what I was buying, as I knew it was going to a good cause.

Why should the demise of the Tax Disc, create a demand for payments ?

It would have been awful if they’d gone into the red.

I assumed they would have been given fuel by the RAF, while on official BBMF business ?
Although I expect they got a good discount, without VAT ?

I was watching on FR24 as she was heading into Iceland last week. A couple of days later I was talking to an
old friend I hadn’t seen for many years. Turns out he was watching too.

Along with one or two others I expect ?

Like everyone else, I didn’t want to say goodbye.

We have friends who both work for a company, who among other things manufacture items for satellites.
Doing a lot for NASA, ESA etc

He was telling me that some of the new bods brought into the company, want to increase production of certain items.
They have been told that when manufactured, these items have a certain failure rate, and if they try to make more, it will
lead to more failures. This possibly leading to the loss of contracts, in a highly competitive market. Contracts which they won through having a superior product.
They won’t listen to him though, and he feels like he’s banging his head against a brick wall.

I wonder what RR have done with the engines ?
