No matter how badly our players do when playing for their country, it will all be forgotten once the new football season
gets underway, and they are playing in front of their adoring fans.

I’m from England, am a proud Brit… And I couldn’t give a toss about England. I hate football with a passion, pointless overpaid p*ssies that are more worried about their £2,000 hair cut… Or hair transplant in Potato’s case… It’s quite amusing seeing England lose however and seeing the fans, fully grown adults, whine and cry. That bit is ever so satisfying.

All subjective of course, we all have our interests. But it’s still highly amusing seeing them lose.

Couldn’t have put it better myself 🙂

Personally I support the Netherlands, and have done so since I saw the brilliant Johan Cruyff playing for his country and Ajax.

A lot of the activity was no doubt due to the armed forces day at Billericay this weekend.

I did hear a fast jet this afternoon, but didn’t see it. (Rayleigh Weir)

All I saw was a formation of three small monoplanes flying back to Headcorn, at about 4:50pm

The one annoying thing I find with the D3300, and I guess applies to all DSLRs ?
When taking videos, because the mirror has flipped, you can’t see through the viewfinder. Unless you have a camera
with an electronic viewfinder, as with bridge cameras.

It’s not easy to smoothly track a moving object in bright sunlight, using the back screen. I was thinking of making up a crude viewfinder which would clip into the flash hot shoe. The only problem then would be, zooming in and out. I shall experiment.

I cant justify buying a camcorder.

Don’t know about those dates, but they will be operating out of Southend (unless there is a change of plan) for the Eastbourne and Clacton airshows.

Anyone care to speculate as to the likely cause ?

I’ve always paid to attend airshows in the past. I don’t go to them now, as being semi-retired it’s an expensive day out.

I can understand the attitude of those who choose to watch outside of the airfields perimeter though.
Especially those who may live fairly local.
A couple going to legends with two children, will have to shell out £95 to get in, and unless they take their own food, will
no doubt have to queue and pay for some very expensive food, drink, ice creams etc.

Probably not getting much change out of £130

Alan I’m sure. That was said about TV program’s when not everyone had a telly. You obviously use computers or you would not be on here.

    I wasn’t talking about myself.
Believe it or not, there are still a lot of people out there who don’t own computers, my father wouldn’t even know how to
turn one on. He would like to see that particular programme though.

The BBC tends to assume that everyone owns a computer, has access to iPlayer, uses Facebook, and knows how to Tweet.

Didn’t look too terrible. I didn’t even realize they had open days there.
