Does anyone on this Forum cycle or, are you all too old ?

I agree totally with your comments John.

I have a bike, but tend to stay away from main roads, and mostly use it off road.

I have occasionally ridden on the pavement, when (in my opinion) it is safe to do so. Or where it would cause unnecessary hold ups for traffic.
If I should encounter pedestrians, I will stop and let them pass. I don’t expect them to get out of my way. Unlike (as you say), some of the lycra clad idiots who don’t slow down for anyone.

Though he is far too modest to mention it (he says) those of you unfortunate enough to live in the Yorkshire TV region can be doubly unlucky and see our own Tangmere not in discussion with the famed author Dr North who uncovered such earth-shattering new aspects of the Battle of Britain a year or two back.

7:30pm, Monday 21st, BBC Yorks and Lincs, Inside Out.

For those with Sky, you will be able to see it wherever you are in the country.

Alan – yes that’s’ right but the real danger for them is that their attitude is unlikely to endear them to those responsible for renewing their Charter.

It will still be renewed though, that’s a certainty

I don’t think the License should be scrapped but that the populist elements should be detached to the commercial world and a much smaller license, say £50 p.a for a BBC 4 type TV channel, Radios 3 and 4 and local radio and a much trimmed news service.

The BBC also feel the need to keep up with the Joneses. (at our expense)
Years ago, ITV announced they were going to have breakfast time TV. The BBC then had to rush to beat them to it.
They brought the 24hr news channel in after seeing that SKY news managed to cover breaking stories live.
    That’s only two examples.

There will be a lot of huffing and puffing, but that will be as far as it goes.

The BBC is a law unto itself, and is allowed to do whatever it likes.
They always manage to justify their extravagant behaviour. Using the excuse that we (who fund them) don’t understand.

His reception from an AirNav RadarBox 2010 , (which I should have mentioned.)
Utilising a 30’ mast-mounted and pre-amped antennae at around 300’ AMSL. Not connected to the Internet.
