What a great result !!
What fantastic news.
Especially for those who have put so much work into the site over the last few years.
Did I see on TV recently, that the term Aerodrome has been removed from the Oxford dictionary ?
Used to be Mirror – Signal – Manoeuvre…
Still is in my books. Probably that as I’ve got older, I am more cautious.
It also used to be the norm, that if overtaking an HGV, once past you would indicate to pull back in.
Then the HGV driver would flash their lights to indicate that it was OK. Then once you had pulled in you
would flash your tail lights to say thanks.
Most of these common courtesies seem to have gone out of the window now.

Any specific bits ?
It’s on Ch5 again this afternoon, preceded by Mosquito Squadron.
Just in case you aren’t word perfect. 🙂
I’ve now had a reply from Stow Maries, and they have mounted the propeller.
It’s the propeller I gave the Rayleigh ATC squadron, about 40yrs ago. After initially wanting to sell it,
they now have it on loan to Stow Maries Airfield.
