I think a lot of bad behaviour on roads (not just motorways), is caused by drivers wanting to establish the pecking order.
What driver of a late model Mercedes, BMW or Range Rover, wants to be seen anywhere apart from the outside lane.
I was coming back from Oxford last week along the M40. I moved into the outside lane to pass an HGV, there was a BMW estate
some way behind at the time. Because I didn’t move back into the middle lane quick enough for him, I got a blast of his horn as he
went past me.
I’m glad the police are also going to come down harder on tailgaters too. Very often Transit man in a hurry.
Regarding keeping to the speed limits. All speedos are calibrated to read over the speed you are doing, up to 3mph at 70mph
Two questions on this.
1, Is the Cirrus the only type to use this system in the UK ?
2, How long has this been certified for use in the UK ? I remember seeing a documentary some years ago, where they
showed it being demonstrated in the US, but said it wasn’t certified for use in the UK yet.
As an aside, I believe model aircraft over a certain size in the US have to have a similar device fitted ?
Can anyone confirm this ?
Your phone should have “Kies Air” installed, download the same programme for your laptop.
Then exchange files via wi-fi. You can also write and send text messages this way.
With the wi-fi, it’s best (in my experience) to enter the MAC Address of you phone into your router.
Rather than using passwords.

I will always remember waddling out to the aircraft wearing the parachute.
Parachutes which were curiously marked US. I don’t think there were American either. 🙂
When speculating as to how various aircraft might have performed against each other, shouldn’t the
quality and mind set of the aircrew be taken into consideration ?
That first shot really fooled me. I was thinking, I didn’t know there was a Thunderbirds marked T33 flying in the UK.
Whats all this nonsence about being in two minds to post your ‘efforts’? These pictures are brilliant.
You and me too :), very nice pictures
Surely, we are sufficiently grown-up as a nation to consign these publications to the history books?
Along with what other publications we don’t agree with ?

It’s on again today on Ch5. Just after mid-day.
Listening to conversation between ATC and the pilot, he doesn’t seem to have a fantastic grasp of English.
