For those of you who have never tried it.

It certainly is nice to be able to see world news from a variety of sources, and how others look at what’s happening in the UK.
For example, the best coverage of the recent meteor strike was on RT.News

I assume this is the Lightning featured on the “Test Pilots” TV series ?

As a bit of escapism it’s not bad.

I love paying for White Elephant stuff like wind turbines etc etc Grrrrr

Oh yes, something else we have been brainwashed into believing.

And isn’t it also strange that for all the extra environmental taxes in place, not a single damn thing has changed in terms of infrastructure, transport, etc?

On the plus side, vehicles are a lot more economical to run now, as regards fuel economy.
Even a lot of large family saloons are doing well over 40mpg

Just FYI, the hotel & rental costs are covered by the show organisers.

I remember a while back looking at the list of requirements that the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels
have, when they are performing away from a military base. It makes your eyes water, and must
be extremely expensive.
Very detailed needs, right down to the number of cars they need to transport personnel to their
accommodation.
