The only Austers registered in Finland are…. AUA, AUE and AUM.

I stand to be corrected, but I believe they used to operate crop sprayers out of Southend. Laddie Marmol perhaps ? (ADS Aviation)

Is PA474 able to fulfil all the requests for displays and fly pasts?
If not, surely a lot more happy people if Just Jane can provide the missed event requests.

As long as there are enough pilots current on type ?

Flypast’s far too glossy to be of any use as bogroll. It’d be like using the awful “Medicated Izal”.

Reminds me of being at ATC camp back in the 60s, when every sheet had “Government Issue” stamped on it. 😀

So to sum up (speaking as a non pilot).

There are rules and regulations which should be adhered to, for yours and
others safety. Although there will be times when through no fault of your
own, you are going to have to ever so slightly bend those rules, when the
wish for self preservation kicks in ? Especially if flying solo.

I rmember my uncle telling me about a B-17 that he said landed on top of Warners Bridge having not quite made the airfield. This may well be the one you are referring to.

I’ll start another thread, so as to not hijack this one.
