Repeated Saturday night, 10:35pm
I expect they still have the fancy dress passing out parade, and the horse going up the steps ?
I imagine there will also be the tearful cadets, on the phone to their mum 🙂
I missed this, but no doubt it will be repeated.
I do wonder how many more programmes like this they can make ?

The article doesn’t actually say how many of the aircraft are destined for the
Red Arrows. Unless they all have high hours on them ?
We were out there just before the 50th Anniversary in 1994.
It was very moving, walking around the cemetery at Oosterbeek, and the
Hartenstein Hotel. The people out there are so friendly.
I made my donation at Stow Maries last week, I doubt they took any money from the cadets. 😉

……. All I can say its a good thing that the family and friends of the deceased and injured almost certainly will not read what has been said here………
Which is really the crux of the matter.
It doesn’t upset me if someone speculates as to the cause of an accident.
It does get rather silly, when for instance there is film of a part falling from an
aircraft, and a poster gets verbal abuse for suggesting that may have been
the cause of the accident. Are people really that touchy feely, or are they
after the moral high ground ?
Lovely video. Where was it filmed ?
It would perhaps save a lot of arguments, if it were left to the moderators to
do the moderating ?
With others keeping their comments to the subject in hand, rather than telling
others what they should think, and what they consider to be bad taste.
Whenever there is an accident, whether it be air, road or sea, people will
speculate as to the cause. If I were unlucky enough to have a relative killed in
an accident, the last thing I would do is trawl through Internet forums to see
what others thought the reason was.
Nice set of pictures.
I knew the chap (Terry) who flies the the Auster, but he flew off before I had a chance to talk to him.
He was in the ATC at Rayleigh, back in the 60’s
Is this 50% to Tesco charity a national policy, plus who decides on the charity?
Storm in a tea cup? If this is true then people are giving money to charity under false pretences, I for one would be livid if I thought I was giving money to one charity for half of it to be directed to another which I may not for any number of reasons object to.
I quite agree.
