Well it is that time of the year LOL

I have decided to lose some weight to help with BP and creaky knees.
I retired 12 months ago and my weight has been creeping up because of the lack of enforced exercise !

I know the feeling, my weight has crept up, either that or my clothes are shrinking 🙂
Not helped by going to quite a few three course dinners. I also like chocolate 🙂

My wife and I do go walking at Hadleigh Country park, but they are more of an amble than a brisk walk, so
don’t actually do a lot of good. Especially as they always finish at the Sally Ann restaurant.
Too much time at the keyboard as well. I must get out and do some more photography.

I see the Beeb were taken to task by some viewers on their biased and negative coverage of Brexit, on last Saturday’s Newswatch: –

All it needs now is for Marine Le Pen to be elected, and the BBC news team will have a field day 🙂

There is no doubt whatsoever that the media, and more especially the BBC has been, and still is, anti Brexit (and Trump)

I heard an interesting comment on the radio this morning.

In North Korea they get their propaganda for free. In the UK we have to pay £145 a year.

Are there any new residents due at Duxford this year ?

I recently had a similar issue, after my father passed away just before Christmas. He had accumulated lots of photos and slides over the years.
I went through them quickly, consigning most to the skip. He never looked at them, and most of were no interest to me.
The same goes for most of the photo albums we have (pre digital)… They are rarely looked at, and one day, either us or someone else will chuck
them in the rubbish. They are of little or no interest to anyone else. A shame, but that’s the way it is.

Whatever happens to XH558 now, I would like to give a big thank you to all those involved in giving me and others, so much enjoyment over the years.
I will treasure the memories of seeing her fly, for many years to come.
