We were doubtful when a F-27 Friendship showed up on the Omaka (NZ) Show programme – turns out they can do a pretty good ‘tactical approach’!

I remember when the RNAF F-27 was doing the airshow circuit some years ago, an impressive display indeed.

Historically it’s the younger generation who are less likely to vote.
Those who have never been in a non-EU UK, and are more likely to
    be influenced by “project fear”.

Just to add. When the Stay In leaflet arrives here, it will be posted back to No.10

We will have to see if these rules are enforced.
A step ( not steps ) in the right direction though.

My personal hindsight view is that the F-100 could have been painted as the Wethersfield based Triple Zilch and the T-33 a Bentwaters based 81st airframe. .

Yes that would have been nice. I know the F-100 has been mentioned a lot on here, but what was the reason for it leaving ?
Did the US want it back, or did the IWM deem it surplus to requirements ? Maybe someone could refresh my fading memory.

Out of interest, I wonder if ArCo had to tender for the work on the Lancaster ?
Or were they the only people in the UK deemed suitable to carry out the work ?

I bet their insurance premiums have shot up.

Just watched “Night Train to Lisbon”, recorded on BBC2 earlier in the week.
    Starring Jeremy Irons. Nice film.

I would guess between the ArCo Hangar and the M11 boundary, looking south. That of course is assuming it’s an old
photo, and the buildings are no longer there. Also assuming the glare top centre of the photo, is from the sun.

    Edit: Bottom right

Talking of Bristol freighters, there are some fleeting glimpses of some at Southend, in this video.

Ronnie Corbett I quite liked. He was a genuinely funny and inoffensive person.

One of the “personalities” I have never really liked (and I’ll say it while he is still alive, to avoid the
inevitable flak), is Bruce Forsyth. There’s just something about him I detest.
