Ronnie Corbett I quite liked. He was a genuinely funny and inoffensive person.

One of the “personalities” I have never really liked (and I’ll say it while he is still alive, to avoid the
inevitable flak), is Bruce Forsyth. There’s just something about him I detest.

Which channels are you able to view, and what is the cost ? I only really use ours (Mk1 version) to watch Youtube.
My wife just loves watching the Vulcan flights 🙂 🙂

You have to look very carefully into what is, and what is not, included in the various packages.
When you start adding in subscriptions, the cost can creep up.
With the Apple TV box, you have to put your card details in, in order to get you box to talk to
your computer. Others may do the same ? You just have to be careful that don’t inadvertently
watch something there’s a charge for. Also sod’s law says the programmes you would most like
    to watch, wont be available.

You have to wonder what the American vets and their families will think when they see this ?

I’ll reserve judgement until I see the display myself. Unless someone has a photo ?

I’m sure Cameron will get his mates in the EU to come to the rescue. After all They helped their steel industries.

Some are USB and some connect to one of your your HDMI inputs.
As long as you have a decent broadband connection any of them should work OK, including “Now TV”.
You just have to see what stations are available, and what the subscriptions are. We have the older Apple TV box,
and use it mostly for watching Youtube videos. It also allows you to watch videos and photos from your computer.

Interesting questions, which I expect will be answered very quickly by those knowledgeable in this department.

My thoughts are that the film makers weren’t really concerned with these sorts of details, neither were the film
audiences, who had just been through the war.
The makers were more concerned with getting the story across. Which they succeeded in doing.

    Why?

This is the Duxford Diary, not the Duxford photo album. The quality of the catering is a topic of interest for those who want to visit.

Ok, it was just that some of the regular photographers have complained in the past, about the thread going
too far off topic. As long as we know where we stand, it doesn’t worry me in the slightest.

Any guesses as to who is next ?

I must admit that there’s more than a few on that list I’ve never heard of. As well as a number
I thought had passed away years ago.
