Any guesses as to who is next ?

I must admit that there’s more than a few on that list I’ve never heard of. As well as a number
I thought had passed away years ago.

Insurance have unfortunately written the aircraft off. He only had a new paint job done on it last year,
as well as other work to update it.

Sounds like it’s the UK paying for the US to be able to extend their surveillance capabilities ?

Stopping any coverage at all on “terrestrial” channels, will be the end of F1.

    Duxford Friday 25th March:

A very Good Friday today with plenty to watch in the sunshine.

I would imagine there was a fair bit of activity today ?, it being another glorious day. Especially as the rest of the
weekend is forecast to be wet

It might be a good idea to keep food related posts elsewhere ?
    Leaving this for photos etc.

Someone mentioned this to me. Holding an airshow so close to the M11 is I would have thought, highly unlikely.
    (Duxford aside)

I spend some of my time on Outreach sessions talking to schools about the spacecraft we build, trying to inspire the next generation into STEM subjects so they get to innovate and invent. It is heartening to see the children’s enthusiasm.

I have a friend (a retired engineer) who belongs to a group who do a similar thing in Essex. He goes to schools explaining to
teachers, how to get the children interested in various aspects of engineering, and sitting in on lessons to answer questions
    from pupils.

For a weekday snack, or even a proper meal (with a very limited menu) there is always the Officers Mess across the road. !

I believe there are one or two decent pubs within a couple of miles of Duxford, and once you have a ticket, you
can go in and out as often as you like. The biggest problem being, you are more likely to miss something.
