Yes always too bad to see stuff like that, but you know what, hey it is still a Voodoo piece, and be surprised what some time and money can do, would be a great cockpit display, also I was there a few years back with Vince and a group wanted to buy is almost complete airframe for an underwater dive wreck! Vince didn t think too much of that.
Another VooDoo hulk, has been used for movie work, but pretty much trashed.
Fairey Battle Column
Fairey Battle control column and spade grip.
One of three hulks the chap purchased from Ed Zalesky of western Canada, very nice work indeed.
Peter I just read on MSN news, a hiker found ID about half a mle away from wreck and they are sure the wildlife got the rest!
Thank you for sharing, what about a memorial plaque or something to remember their sacrifice? would be fitting tribute, any ideas? Darrell
Lindsey VooDoo long gone, used to see it up hwy 35 on way to cottage, Vince Oconnor has a hulk at his place, needs some TLC for sure.
Swordfish and Lizzie to follow, wouldn t that be something s well! amazing pix fellas, Darrell

If anyone was interested , the fabric is from a Curtiss Jenny.
