When they say production starts at 2023, do they mean limited series production or full scale deliveries to the air force ?
Only first flying prorotypes than after 2025 probably preproduction models and untill 2035 first deliveries will be completed and operational use, its not clear how an advanced jet fighter design its gonna be but according to the officials its gonna be a cheaper and simple variant of it 😉
How many f-35 is turkey planning to buy ?
100+19 =119 F-35s for the future plans.
People are saying even korea is pushing it and should buy (more) F-35s. Looking at the dates they are going to want a 5th gen fighter and if so who are they going to partner with/pay for it?
Pobably in the coming years it will be more clear about the future partners of the program but according the latest news TAI is working wih the SAAB Aircraft for the conceptual design, after talks with the other offered manufacturers (Lockheed Martin, Alenia Aeronautica). KAI didn’t want to participate the program because of its own fighter program and has started intergovermental talks and Boeing Aircraft has opted out. It will be developed to operate along with the F-35 in the future and will be replaced with the F-4s and aged F-16s and it will have an advanced jet trainer version. According the undersecretariat of defence in 2014 the conceptual design of the aircraft gonna finish and probably we can have more details about the bird, if how advanced its gonna be. It shouldn’t be forgetten that it will fly in 2023 and probably most of the systems will be more advanced than the todays fighters because of the nature of the technology, lets wait and see…

:D:D
You funny too, is it officially for JXX or XJJ or J-14 ? It used as representational picture not as the real bird!

Turkey in talks for 10 Anka UAVs
http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/turkey-in-talks-for-10-anka-uavs-370435/
I don’t think its a good idea to send a very expensive test aircraft (with equipment) to the museum or trash, when compare with you can send it back to factory for the modifications, even partially fired aircrafts goes to factory for a whole repair work
I don’t really see it as any more advanced than SU-35C cockpit tbh.
Su-30SM was ordered because it was ready for production, so I doubt they want a radical change that will slow down the tempo. We will know this year for sure though.
I see great graphics such western standarts and touch screens as all aicrafts will get it in the future, so in my opinion its the most advanced one as today 🙂
Well, Su-27 series could mean Irkut, Knaapo, a repair shop….just saying, there are quite a few possibilities.
Yes you are right but its the most advanced Russian aircraft cockpit i have ever seen, so i wonder if its an super-30 upgrate cockpit, shall we see them on the Su-30SM??
Do we even know that pic of from Irkut?
I think its absolutely an Su-27 series aircraft but don’t know about the orign of the displays…
Is it confirmed now that that picture was of super-30 upgrade medal64?
Who will confirm it, Irkut representatives 😀
Any idea about the new ordered Su-30SMs may have the touchscreen cockpit displays as the Super-30? Its mentioned that the Su-30SM is a present of the India to the Russian airforce! If Irkut company did such a work for the Super-30 upgrade, they may apply it to the Su-30SM but im not sure about the manufacturer of the new displays
I did, but it lasted only for a second. :p
 I should understand it from firstly we should see the first three in air 😮
I have a feeling TR1 and medal64 fell for it…;)
I think when you first read you fell for it too 😉
