Any good news, pictures or videos? When will the PAK-FA saga start back with new ones π
Back on topic, have we ever heard why 51’s verticals are on 52?
In my opinion they tested something new on it and found some bugs. Probably because of the same problem other prototypes are still waiting on ground

FSUE “RPC Gas Turbine” Salute “will provide JSC” Corporation “Irkut” engines AI-222-25 for 55 trainer aircraft Yak-130 is intended for the Russian Air Force.

Deliveries of aircraft engine AI-222-25 will ensure the construction of 55 Yak-130, in accordance with the contract signed by the Ministry of Defense and JSC “Corporation” Irkut “in December 2011.
As explained Masalov, “the contract is signed within the framework of the state defense order, and for three years.”
According to Fedorov, the share of defense contracts in the production program of the enterprise increases. “We have also started exports of Yak-130, and see Beyond the expansion of foreign markets for the aircraft. In parallel, the corporation is working to build the combat capable version of the aircraft, “- he said
Flateric could you get any info about, could they solve the problems at new prototypes? And when the test will program gain momentum?

American, Chinese, and Russian’s have already built theirs.. the following three expressed goals to make theirs.. so who will actually go all the way?
Korea?
Turkey?
Japan?what they have in common? all are interested in replacing their archaic F-4s soon and to have something to supplement their F-35s
When we compare the starting dates of the projects, it should be the;
1-Japan ( about 2016 experimental prototype, 2030s real 6th gen. fighter)
2-Korea ( about 2016-2017 fighter prototype)
3-Turkey( about 2020 fighter prototype)

Russia Pulls Out of S.Korea Fighter Tender
Russia’s main military aircraft maker has decided not to take part in South Koreaβs largest-ever arms tender, for a new fighter aircraft, The Korea Times said on Monday citing the countryβs military procurement authorities.
Result was already known, T-50 had no chance to win there because of the political situations, so in my opinion Russians got what they wanted to do there, their T-50 was in the shortlist than they didn’t want to share more info and pulled out, its sensible
A poor mans stealth fighter at best.
I think it disturbs you poor man has a promising stealth fighter and many other projects but you don’t π Sometimes its better to be poor because you don’t need huge moneys for creating something new π
Why laughing Mr. El Dingo?:rolleyes: All those statements are true!;) Suhkoi need send engineers to training at Chengdu!:diablo:
According the latest news China is seriously interested in with Su-35 and S-400 Triumph π Maybe Sukhoi should send some engineers for training the specialists at Chengdu π
What were you smoking to come out with that comment? The two aircraft are worlds apart in design.
I think if you have glasses you should go doctor, its time to change π Rafale can only fight with the fighter in its class; Mig-35, Saab Gripen, F-16 and f-18 Hornet even if MMRCA victory makes you over the clouds, reality is Su-35 or PAK-FA is one size bigger than it :diablo:
But its stealth is so limited that its not going to bring anything more than say an Su-35 can to the fight. Hardly revolutionary or game changing. I’d wager that the Rafale is actually a more stealthy aircraft.
I don’t know your criterias about the stealth but if you check the latest Boeing F-XX 6th. gen. concept you will see how its design is similar with the PAK-FA, so probably in the future more sophisticated materials will be able to make an aircarft more stealthy than today. But its hard to add Rafale an inner weapon compartments or changing its design for stealthy nozzles when the aircraft is looking such like that…
Be honest, this is a bit disappoitment at least to say, I think the whole aviation community expected more from Sukhoi, Russia`s leading fighter design bureau than this stealthy feature crippled Raptorski. That`s my opinion, well I hope they can prove me wrong. Looking forward to see the fourth prototype of the Russian PAK-FA fifth-generation fighter.
I don’t think so PAK-FA is much better than my expectations, its combination of an stealth aircraft and an real fighter with its aerodynamics! I think Sukhoi guys knows what they are doing exactly when compare with the most of the other aircraft manufacturers, an fighter aircraft should fly such a fighter not like an passenger aircraft π
