im not completely sure who owns it, but this aircraft was recovered from India. Do a search on the forum for indian Me109, hopefully that will help to answer your questions
that was me sorry, would people prefer me to remove the “L” word and replace it with “airshow ” ? 😉
yep, the Yak 1 owned by the historic aircraft collection.. . Would be cool if this aircraft flys this year… ah thanks yak fan, i wasnt sure where the yak 3 went 🙂
yeah thats 4 new aircraft for this year 🙂 does anyone know what happened to their Yak 3?
i think we might be in for a treat this year, with alot of interesting types comming to the end of their restorations “yak 1, tempest 2….”
it would be great to see the TFC’s gladiator and cr42 dogfight at legends wouldnt it 🙂
i noticed on wix that the TFC’s pearl harbour P-40B “41-13297” has been registered as G-CDWH 🙂
looking through the TFC website, they have added the Beechcraft 17 Staggerwing to there collection. The TFC arent going to be P-40 less for long, shouldnt there P-40b be flying by may 😀
“TFC’s Curtiss P-40M Kittyhawk has left Duxford to reside with Peter Teichman at North Weald. Beechcraft Staggerwing G-BRVE, previously based at North Weald, is now resident in TFC’s hangar. More details to follow”
wouldnt be the flying A services Razorback P-47 by any chance  i might be dreaming too much.
i agree it would be nice to get parts together to make another complete Wellington, would be even better seing one restored to fly!
Paul Allen (Microsoft co owner) owns the ex TFC Mossie.
i wouldnt be surprised if the TFC have acquired RS700, yes they have alot of projects going on at the moment, but they might outsource parts to be restored like on the P-36. This way the restoration wouldnt take as long.
PaulC do you know if both catalinas are to remain in the UK, or go abroad? i heard that the ex-plane sailing cat was “rumoured” to be sold to a guy in Ireland. But what of the Ex Greenpeace Cat?
il be there tomorrow, i originally planned to go sunday, but the wait is driving me mad 🙂
i did a google search and this is from the plane sailing site “where a complete repaint (to a USAAF colour scheme as flown from nearby Halesworth during WWII) is being carried out” i did a search Halesworth Pbys and apparently the 5th ERS was based at Halesworth. i might be completely wrong, but i think this is what the catalina will look like , this is what i found on google searching for 5th ERS catalina-

Good place to go is near the Tank Museum, was there last year year at legends. Now i just have to decide which day to go on, saturday or sunday
Has anyone booked there tickets for legends?
i think this thread is a good idea 🙂 im looking forward to legends this year, and its good for people to get an idea of what is going to be there.
does anyone know if the OFMCs Yak-3 is on its way to UK? Also if the Polikarpov 1-15 is going to be performing this year ?
