This would have been a very serious undertaking on behalf of Canadian Warplane Heritage. I would like everyone to be aware that we do not take this type of venture lightly and would never have even considered this unless we felt that the aircraft was capable of flying that distance. All of our flying aircraft are maintained to the highest of standards. We have received both positive and negative comments with regards to this matter and I would like to say that they were all equally appreciated.

I would like to thank the people of England and specifically Sqdn. Ldr. Mike Buckland for putting forth so much effort to try and make it happen.

As already said by many, the new building is just an architect trying to show how clever he is. The building Cosford originally wanted would have been ideal but they’ve finally removed it from their website and put the new eyesore on.
As far as I know, for aircraft storage, the hangar in a variety of sizes hasn’t been improved on in the last nearly 100 years. That’s probably why they’re still built. Perhaps we could find an architect and insert one…

Have you fitted the TR4 cam and carbs to either of yours yet, Al? 😀

Most modern VCRs can play NTSC tapes anyway, but I think there’s a get-out in the manual for ours about picture quality.

Mk.21 for me. I’ve never seen one in the flesh – it’s a long way to Glasgow. 🙁
