Admittedly it was a year ot two back, (alright, 20-odd) but Kermit Weeks only paid £100,000 for an airworthy RS712.

dhfan — it’s a bit awkward to reach from the southbound carriageway…

Thanks Martin. It looked a bit tricky from the map. I’ll have to make sure habit doesn’t take over and I go straight on down the M11.

Dynajets were still available into the 70’s, I saw them in a model shop in Finchley.
I believe they’re legal for control-line use in the UK but I’ve never met anybody that really knows.
There’s a Dutch R/C pulse-jet display team I’ve seen a couple of times at Elvington. Awesome speed and control, especially considering the pulse-jet characteristic of 2 throttle settings – flat out and stopped.

The last picture is a modern (Japanese probably) 4-stroke model engine.

You don’t need to use photobucket, at that size you can post them here.

    Go advanced and manage attachments.

I don’t know what they are either.

One part of the Northern contingent here.

Presumably, southbound, I have to go past the Crematorium and turn at a roundabout or similar?

Also courtesy Putnam, the TT.3 reverted to the short nose which is why I was fairly confident in saying it was a TT.2. 🙂

You’re right, it’s a Sturgeon TT.2. I hadn’t noticed you can just see the cockpit canopy behind the prop.
It would appear they all had contra-prop Merlins so Griffons was a wrong guess.

    That is a serious eyesore!

Presumably a pair of Griffons and b****y ugly, but apart from that – what is it?

    BTW, thanks for posting.
