Ok I have done a bit more tweaking so here goes with another.
John.
Thanks for the advice Robant, I thought that the programme I have didn’t re-size but I have since found out that it does so I have posted and adjusted pic for you all to pass judgement.

John.
How after all that can the pilot climb out stand straight and sign his name!!!!!!!.
Two minutes on a fairground ride and I am kissing the ground 😮 😮 .
John.
Pass the sick bag!!!! 😮 .
The instrument looks to me like an artificial horizon, it is certainly behaving like one but it has lots more markings on it (maybe for experimantal purposes), sat next to it is the accellerometer (g-meter) and below it it looks like an altmeter.
John.
The Americans also had a fyling boat that was supersonic but not armed, neither did it go into production but still it was significant as a research testbed, more info when I am not so drunk!!!!!!!!.
Regards,
John.
Noted and changed but I don’t know how to change the thread title, my bag! 😮 .
Regards,
John.
I have not yet passed comment on the colour scheme, only asked questions, or is that not allowed when you are trying to learn about aviation history?.
The only comment I do have to pass is the astonishing amount of work that is going on at MAM to preserve these airframes, Keep up the good work.
Regards,
John.
Thanks for all the info guys!!, IMHO it ranks highly in ‘what’s the point?’ hall of fame, it looks and sounds good on paper and by all accounts it did very well at what it was meant to do but when you step back and reallity bites you must ask yourself ‘why?’.
I sometimes think that this form of aviation is the best becouse without it you would not have pioneers that push boundries and make it all possible.
One day I shall have to see it in the flesh as judging by the size and condition she is in she will absolutely blow my socks off!!!!!.
Kindest Regards,
John.
Thanks BIGVERN I will have to find my way down there one day and have a look.
John.
When did she fly in white?, also am I right in thinking she went supersonic?.
Regards,
John.
Was she not origonally silver when she flew?, only going by an old picture that might not be very acurate so someone please shed some light.
Regards,
John.
Some superb shots, it’s nice to see her in good condition.

Ok the day started slow as I am recovering from a night shift but at about four this afternoon jet noise got me looking skyward and hey presto!! the Red Arrows did a full display outside my house!!!!.
Sorry about the quality but the boggo 300mm lense I have is useless at full stretch and I think they were a few miles away over Brough.
Feeling good now.
John.
No mistaking .223!!!!
(in response to Chinaclipper’s post)
I found out the difference in a very unsavoury way once when after using a .22LR rifle for rabbitting for a long time I was introduced to a .223 for larger game/vermin.
While out one day a rabbit went hopping past and instinct brought the rifle to my shoulder and crack!!! 😮 result: one fluffy tail and half the countryside left a deeper shade of red!!!, a wholey embarrasing and educating experience.

John.
