QUOTE]Well, its not DASIC then….
but nothing else unblocks a well bloked nose quicker than Dasic D23
A “twin engined” bomber came down a mile or so Southwest of Southend pier on Monday 3rd February 1941, however it being a mile from the pier would put it slap bang in the middle of the deep water channel so the chances of it being this one are slim as the recovery of an engine would be more or less imposible.
The number of aircraft that came down in the Thames Estuary is quite high from Spitfires & Hurricane to Bf109,s to 110’s and He111’s even a Boston or two!
Beleve it is to be the Mustang.
back up and running now
Yep,
Cant access it at all even doing a Google Cached entry dose not work, strange that its still linking to photos I have in there though
Nothing wrong with them, thats the big big problem with Sunderland the flightline is far too far out,
Just think what I would have got with my 3mpx 4x zoom pocket camera! they would all look like fleas in the sky sadly not flying fleas!

I don’t believe it is either, Peter.
I may be wrong, but I believe the Fescalised portions of 426’s jacks and Liquid Springs are liberally coated in Mobilgrease 22, to prevent such corrosion.
Flipflopman
Spot on that man, a nice coating of 22, its a quick simple way to prevent corrosion it may not look pretty but I would rather that than have to treat any corrosion
