Anyone know is G-CVIX is booked for Kemble this year? It would be criminal if it weren’t present!
also what other shows is she at this year.
Sticking with Google Earth but mooving away from the Fireflys
Check out 34dg 42’40,20 North x 32dg 29’18,44 East (or how ever its written)
On Sunday had a Gazelle (ex RN) and the Sabre at about 5:00pm which was nice… very nice
Dont forget N5459M in South Africa
Is the French aircraft a Flamant?
Yep sure it is.
It could have been one of the Thorpe Park based Lesuire Sport replicas that took up winter residence at Southend, I beleve the Fokker Dr1 they had was damaged in a landing accident at Southend.
Nick
Had one or two showers the worst of which was before flying started a few storms with thunder and lighting passed to the South of the flying aera over Kent which was impresive to see, blacker than black skys on one side of the Estuary whilst Southend had Blue Skys!
Lancaster will be at Southend untill Thursday when she will be fixed and flown home.
nice selection,
the team reva aircraft where her nose is on the deck is is great
Good, I thought they’d given up on runs from what I’d heard! Their web site used to be great – think the current one is a big step back and could do with some serious updating.
Where did you hear that?
Hope its at Leg…
Dont ask…
she went to Doug Arnald and graviated to North Weald with Aces High after spending many many years in bits out side she moved to North Coates and is now still in bits and rapidly falling in to even smaller bits at Sandtoft a group in OZ did try and move her down there but its all gone quite.
Very nostalgic Colin! Have some similar in the loft but they are not as good as yours and also I don’t have the bottle to post snaps of myself as a 6 year old in big brown flares at Southend.
Cheers for posting mate
You have got to post the Southend ones, if you do I will try and dig out the one or two of me when I was about 6!
