The parade wasn’t held as the usual venue (Jinnah avenue) is a busy place and was closed down for a week due to reharsals and the parade. This caused a lot of problems for the residents of islamabad, many of whom would use the route to get to work or home. Second, in my personal opinion, having a parade every year doesn’t make sense. It costs a lot and doesn’t exactly achieve a whole lot.

During the Visits of US of A presidents the Islamabad was sealed air tight for days i wonder if it didnt cause any problem to the residents of Islamabad. So please be realistic while you place an argument. Here is the case. So kursed if what you say is correct that the Army has no place to park its toys in Islamabad as it already has parked few at the top place in Gov namely the President house. Seems kinda funny kekeke. Though i m not challenging the information you give i think it pretty much is right but the excuse is so lame they have the country and cant stage a prade coz they dont got space to park. kekekekeeeke. Sorry guys, the US isn’t going into any armed action against Iran (yes, it would make a heck of a show for “armchair generals” but it isn’t going to happen unless Iran directly attacks US interests or allies).

I unfortunately think that mister Bush will continue to carry out his agenda no matter how badly his opinion in the polls would be. Otherwise, he would have pulled US forces out of Iraq a long time ago.

Well both are pretty strong points and have their logical reasonings. Considering romours of talks between Iran and America regarding Iraq which obviously means talk about the mess that is created in between them. So does this meanz for first reason is likely to be the case?

the leadership in Iran has to realize that if it comes to military actions, they can only lose. This perception is not really established in this forum, I hope the Iranians know better about their own weapons and the ability of its former allie.

Well just before the military operations in Iraq, Saddam agreed with everything UN was asking and did not asked for any terms yet he got bombed the hell out of the country. May be Iran is learning from the same not very long ago incident that if your going down might as well go down swinging.

Saddam consistently maintained that he would defeat the Coalition. Obviously he failed to succeed in that regard.

But then Coalition went after WMD. They certainly failed in that. But then yes Saddam is no more their and that in itself is a victory ya rite i remember that part.

Now we have to define what actually success and failure is and then compare what incase of Iraq, Sadam and in case of Iran Ahmed has in mind in terms of success and for the very same reason Mulla Umar in Afghanistan. Incase their was no Army to fight ( established i ment). So as far as you cant call the above mentioned two countries Afghanistan and Iraq now days as model of Democracy brought by Bombs. So lets see if they can do any good in Iran ( Third time is the charm).
