SOHC750,
Thanks for the information but areyou sure about the reg N1304Z. My Aerodata have N1430Z as do air-Britain in their Turboprop Airliners 1948-2000?

Albert,
I think if you look carefully, you will see that what you have taken as the boom extension, is in fact a drop tank. They are not inline with the boom. I still say they are FAW1s.

The aircraft with Churchill is definitely a Lockheed and as it is in RAF markings I would surmise it is a Ventura or Hudson. Not enough showing to be sure which.

Here is a picture of XR143 taken at Lincoln Nebraska 15/05/93. I have recorded it as N1403Z but I do not know why. I also have it in 1994 as G-BFVT still at Lincoln. I believe that this is the one that went to Sioux City.
Glyn
Pat,
I used Air-Britain’s RAF Serials X1000 – Z9999 and Bruce Robertsons British Military Aircraft Serials.
Air-Britain have a whole series covering J0001 to WZ999. I have the whole series but not the latest edition.
Glyn
Patrick,
It is Z4693 a Hurricane 1, which served in the Middle East and was struck off charge in 1945′
Z4893 did not exist.

Yes that is a French Air Force Super Mystere and the markings are French.
Glyn
Moggy,
I know you have a very high regard for choppers and please do not excommunicate me for saying this but those S-55s are S-58s.
Glyn
As promised here are a few. I do not know where or when. However it must be prior to 3/03/62 as the Starfighter crashed on that date.

2 C-119G Boxcar CP-20 coded OT-CAT
3 A-3B Skywarrior 138964 coded AC/00

6 F-8A Crusader 143747 coded AC/201
7 F-104B Starfighter 57-1299 coded FG-299
8 C-124C Globemaster 52-0954

The squadron markings look more like 33 Sqn and 1955 I suspect is a more likely date. If they are 33s it is probably Butterworth. 80 Sqn had canberras by Aug 1955. However all suggestions are welcome.
Glyn
A line up of Shackleton MR3s at Gib but that is all I know about this shot.
Glyn
Only one this time, which I have just scanned in and no I have not counted them.
Does anybody know where and when this was taken?
