They do seem to chop and change their routes like no ones business don’t they!

I know it wouldn’t give me much confidence in booking something incase they’d ditched it by the time it came for me to travel. Still, and before anyone raises the subject, I know they can’t operate non-profitable routes but it does make you wonder how good their route analysis is before they start them!

Air Wales do CWL-BFS for Bmi Baby now

I know, but they do more than just CWL-BFS. They do CWL-ORK and CWL-GLA/PIK (can’t remember which) at last count. They don’t always do all flights to each destination, some routes appear to have a WW aircraft operate them at certain times of the day. Very confusing set-up!

Have you noticed that some of the flights they used to codeshare/operate for bmibaby are now bmibaby flight numbers only? They seem to be in the series WW8XXX and have no Air Wales 6G flight number accompanying them now.

Are they turning more into a charter airline maybe?

All the inflight shots are of more modern 737s than the 200 series.

The inside cabin shots are a total mock-up. There is absolutely no way thats a real aircraft. For a start, the loo doors have that mirrored glass in them, never EVER come across a Boeing with glass windows in the doors (or any other passenger aircraft for that matter). The layout is too wide and Galley’s too big to be a real aircraft.

Also, whenever they pick up the interphone to make a PA, its actually a normal household phone they’re using, not a proper Interphone. The 737 classics don’t have that style of interphone, they have a much older microphone which is usually black.

As for the doors, the arming mechanism is a joke! It looks more like something off a submarine! Seriously, I don’t know who’s in charge of continuity there but its really a bad mock-up! So bad…. its funny! 😮

I seem to remember they did use G-CEAF in the external Port Health scenes, yes.

You have to remember that BY are a charter airline at the end of the day. If someone’s paying the dosh, I’m sure they’ll fly whoever, pretty much anywhere!

No idea what Damascus is all about though. I’ve heard of some near Middle East tours with people like Kuoni etc, but they’re mainly to Jordan, not Syria.

    Very strange!

I’m surprised they have enough A340’s to start these flights. I thought they only had 2 at last count?

They don’t still have any L1011’s left do they???
