Imho this talk is damaging to russian aviation industry. It is nice to announce many projects, but is even better to finish some.

AFAIK Russia is not going to finance another fighter project for the foreseeable futture.

So who should be funding the development of the MiG project ?? Given the development costs of modern 4 or 5th generation fighters are surely to much for MiG to take on alone.

A rather pointless discussion. F-16 A/B or F-16E. Does it matter ?

First we have to ask what will the PAF use it for.

If the answer is air defense, then a F-16 A/B brought to MLU standard with JHMCS and AIM-9X or ASRAAM would be surely enough for that role and equal or even superior to an F-16E.
If you want to do strike then it is the E version.

Soory, but I doubt that they have the resources (money) to delevop a 5th generation fighter of their own. That is impossible. Perhaps they can continue studying the design, but that is it.

Long overdue move. I will miss the equipment from an aviation fan view, but I can only recommend to the US, to get out their forces from Germany.

Too many restrictions, too expensive and you have always ask the germans to use the bases in a conflict. I would either keep the military part of Frankfurt or keep Ramstein as an logistics base.
