I think the only fault was to withdraw from the EF programm. Imagine how far a really joint european fighter could be today when you add the money spent on EF and Rafale.
And now some little ones from DUS
(well apart the last one)
Of course it was a joke… they had their last free elections… WHEN?
The funny thing is that on another forum I have had a few arguments with several people who don’t even think Russia is democratic yet… and how many elections have they had?
There politcal system is kind of communist. But their economy is more and more purely capitalist.
You mean Rafale ??
They make a change from the Boeings/Airbusses.. I’ll be sorry to see them go..
I’m using the 10D c/w Canon 80-200mm.. f2.8 L (the black one) its a tad heavy outfit… I’m hoping to get the Canon 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 DO IS to cut the weight…
No I’m not rich…my outfit was a ‘dowry’ from my American
son-in-law…
Once you have worked with a 2.8 you will never want to go back to a lesser lense. Believe me. Save the money on the 70-300. Since I own the 300 2.8 my 400 5.6 has rarely been used.
Best think is that I can always get my camera checked for free I go spotting in DUS. Nikon Germany is directly at the airport.
I think I post some more later today.
(You guys really got me interested in commercial aviation spotting again)
And one specially for you A330.
It depends, they could operate the EF along with F-35, as they operate the F-4 along the F-16s today. The advantage would be that not their whole fleet would be hit if their relationship to the US somehow becomes sour.
Honestly Turkey buying theEF is not that unlikely.
We must see that most JSF partners did not yet see a owrkshare allocated to their local industry that refelcts their commitment. Furthermore those customers must face the truth that they might get a downgraded F-35 version.
And a F-35 without stealth is not better then EF.
Now look what a EF deal could offer to Turkey. Such a deal would plz 4 influencial EU nations that could make or brake Turkeys desire to join the EU. It also makes them less depended on the goodwill of old US. And they had a good experience with the licensce production of the CASAs. Perhaps they could even get a workshare in other projects. (like Airbus)
Here are 4 more
Now they only need to bring the old livery back.
On Wednesday 09/06/04 Turkish Airlines flew a A340 for the Trip from DUS to Antalya or Istanbul.
