A F-4Fs crashed.
Ok gimme the serials. Jst a small shot, a serial from a landing gear part anything. And I can tell you exactly what happened to the plane after 1999.
Same for the german Tornados plz. Otherwiese I would be sure that the spotters logs and the ofical listings of planes is a sufficent proove that none were lost.
And can some one explain to me how the exchanged the planes without being noticed. All sorties from Italian airfields were recorded by spotters. So let us say 4 planes take-off. From Aviano, but only 3 return.
That is strange. But the plane could have diverted into another airbase. So it should have been seen landing or later during take off.
So if this is alos not the case, then it might have been lost.
Unfortunately for the believers that there is not one case in which this happened. – Apart from the offical known losses.
Well when did we see the first paintings of a F-35 ?? Is it in service yet ?? ๐

Actually, guys, here’s a hard fact for you – both the Germans and the French acknowledged losing a few Mirage and Tornado aircraft during the war.
Now I would love to see that link.
obviously fake
A-5 for CAS. Ouch that will hurt. The handling characteristics for the whole MiG-19 series are know the “challenging”. And the nice exhaust and the Mk.1 eyeball only avionics and you have a one mission airplane. Doing CAS in an enviroment full of AA, Manpads, SAMs and figthers will be a one way mission for such a plane.
Especially as it lacks the guided missiles (like AGM-65) to take out the threats from a distance.
Unguided rocktes or even gun runs in such an enviroment will be pure suicide, as the planes course is very much predictable during the attack run.

BTW, I heard Thailand’s part of the group also, yes, no, maybe so???
Sure let ESA have their wet dreams. ๐
And Thailand should spent their money on much more pressing needs on earth.
What Arthur says.
More details on the German MRTTs.
The first “August Euler” was converted from a existing A310MRT.
(MRT = Multirole Transport , MRTT = Multirole Tanker Transport)
All others will also be converted from existing airframes. These planes can be used as, tankers, transports, medevacs, VIP, ..
Especially the medevac fit is quite impressive.
They are abased at Kรถln-Bonn. Depot maintenance is done by the Lufthansa.
Another country wasting money on stupid space projects …
Well for some reasons :
– it is rough and stable
– has a reputation for excellent service rates
– MICA is an advantage
– there are enough planes left that will be in service for at least 20 years more. So Iยดm not going to become the last operator of the type soon.
– french are not that picky when it comes to spares supply as the US. Meaning not so likely to get embargoed.
– tried and tested
– other users will make sure that it will see further upgrades I can add at a later date
– french offer good compensation deals
– MiG-29SMTs I fear increasing spare prices in the long run, as in 10 years there might be less then 100 planes of the type reamining in use
aircraft :
Well say 36 Mirage 2K5 + 10 double seaters
30 used german Alpha Jets for training and CAS
(or some 30 YAK-130s)
18 PC-9 for taining and profincy training
3 A310-304s MRTTs (converted from used airliners)
2 Global Express style types for government use
6 C130J + 4 AC-130J
12 CASA 295 (8 Transport 4 MPA)
30 Cougars for the Army (NH90s if I can wait)
30 OH-6 armed with TOWs or Miniguns (based on the new tailrotorless versions) – light support and recon
12 Cougars for the Navy (ASW + SAR) (NH-90 if I can wait)
air defence :
– lots of manpads
– TOR M-1
– S-300 for defense of key installations
installations :
– 3 main airbases
1. fighter in the central area near the capital + airlift
2. Navy base (near the coast) QRA area for fighter detachement
3. helo and training training base
all bases not hardend
apart from that I would built many road strips
dispersed ammunition storages that can be used by more then one road strip
All communications done with triple redundant land communication
radars. Many mobile system with semi prepared positions. (Communications available) At least 2 radars per sector. One operating one moving.
Local airdefence centers are trained to operate alone without connection to higher headquarters.
-> spent the reast on training, training and training.
What about the Growler. Arenยดt the Prowlers use by mixed USAF and US Navy units ?? Will the USAF spent money on the Growler or will this be an exclusive Navy only deal ??
I hope they ask the USAF before buying it. I mean how is that plane (Slower Hornet + tanks + jammers) ever be able to escort a F-22 or F-35 or even an F-15E as a jammer. Do they want the strikers to throttle back so that the jammer can keep up ??
How is the Growler to cover ingress and egress when it is at Bingo fuel ?? Can they jam while flying on the boom ??
And how is the E/F-18G to keep up with the Navys own F-35s, when they arrive ?? I has not the spped nor the range.
I just hope the USAF will go for an own jammer again. They should compensate Boeing by buying an E/F-15F or something. Imagine conformal jammers between the intakes. That plane would be fast and have the endurance to be a usefull jammer. And Boeing would even get some work. ๐
If they really decide on the Growler to be the dedicated US jammer, then perhaps the Navy wants to buy some KC-767s, as they will need them.
You mean like the 50% workshare and design leadership they wanted early in the EF programm ??
Btw, it could be that Dassault and EADS are really interested in joining the project.
At least the D models taken back, will find a buyer very soon.
And the F could at least top of the Flankers after take-off.
Should work very well at night ๐
