That’s a red-breasted parakeet you got at the end there just before you went to the pub. Had a wee look aboot and found that’s what it is.

Whatever you do the colour of the helo would always just merge with the colour of the night. Best bet is to get there at dusk, before it gets fully dark
    and background details just disappear.

    Some decent stuff, Scotty.

What mounds were you on ? I see you have side-on shots so if that was the SECOND set of mounds there would be that red & white building right
    in front.

Any idea what the LTU was in for ?

There ya go. Stour now correctly spelt. So, I dip out on the gold star.

As for what it means, Grey Area. Well…. the clattery is just …. hmmm…..
in the manner of that which clatters.

    See this link for stour…….

Nice pics. I particularly like the first one of the EZY leaping into the air.

What’s with the “Edinburgh” title on the nose ? Are there others with city names on them too ?

Good shots you have there! Nothing like a nice clear, sunny winter day.

What focal length were you using for the moon ? Was there further cropping involved ?

Good shots Paul. The first Jet2 is very nice.

Off to Dublin on Monday, so the weather will dictate whether it is airport or pub. Hopefully some clear wx on the way back over the UK for some firework scenery to watch.

I have been meaning to get to the seaplane base , to get some takeoff shots fom the Clyde , think they have or will be suspending the river flights for the winter so will have to wait till next year to get the shots I want

    Kevin

They are hoping to continue the Oban flights until the end of November then break for the winter until February. That’s the plan anyway …. all depends what the elements have to say about it though… like ice and clattery stour.

I can tell you that it flew a football charter 15/5/02 from Madrid to an airport begining with G and ending with W!

Got shots of that, if it is the time it parked north side for a few days. Or maybe that was its only visit to that place you say starts with G and ends with W. Gzpwszczw ?

Photo of the Cougar, anytime between 6/01 and 8/02.

Cheers. That narrows it down a bit more. Just need to know when 737WH was in at PIK between these dayes to narrow it even further. Getting there.

Oh, Frankfurt of course. You can see the Berlin Airlift memorial in the background in the first shot.

A small example of a normal Sunday at EDI, with the exception of the first one, not sure why it came here from Inverness today.

Possibly to pick up enough fuel for a long trip due to runway length at Inverness ?
